CALPE

Calpe is located between Moraira and Altea, 76 km from Alicante airport. Over decades Calpe has turned into a touristic hotspot attracting thousands of people from all over the world.

This coastal town is known by the impressive views that most of the properties have thanks to the famous Peñón de Ifach rock, a limestone outcrop of 332 meters high.

The smallest national park in entire Spain surrounds this rock, which has become a home for over 300 different species of animals.  There are several paths available to hike up the rock, from where you will be able to enjoy amazing views.

As most of the coastal towns of Costa Blanca, Calpe also offers a variety of beautiful beaches, where you can enjoy sunny days together with your family and friends. There are also a lot of different coves available in Calpe, offering a more private and calmer atmosphere.

This town is also known for its fish auction. Even if you are not a fish or sea food lover, this auction is a must-see when visiting Calpe. Fish auction is an old fisherman´s tradition, in which everyone is welcome to participate. Fresh fish is brought to the port every day from Monday to Friday and the auction normally starts at 17.00.
