COSTA CALIDA
The Warm Coast or Costa Cálida is the coastal area that belongs to Murcia region and is located between Andalucía, Valencia and Castile-La Mancha regions.
The coastal area of 274 km spreads from San Pedro del Pinatar till Águilas including such major cities like Cartagena and an extraordinary area of La Manga.
Murcia region is a highly agricultural area since it supplies the majority of European countries with fruit and vegetables all year long.
It is also known for Mar Menor which is the biggest lagoon in Spain which has a unique ecosystem. This region is very attractive for those who are into mountaineering and hiking since there are lots of amazing routs throughout this region and a Mountain Park Sierra Espuña with an average height of 800 meters up to 1.583 m.
