GUARDAMAR DEL SEGURA

Guardamar del Segura is a real hidden gem of southern Costa Blanca. It is a small autonomous town, situated in 35 km from Alicante airport.

Guardamar del Segura is known for the best beach in entire Costa Blanca, which a natural 13 km long beach with fine golden sand surrounded by beautiful dunes and pine forests. 

It is a very compact and easy to get around town with all necessary services such as hospital, schools, church, local Town Hall, music school, parks, and a wide variety of shops, supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants.

Every Wednesday from very early morning until 14.00 you can enjoy the local farmer’s market right in the city center. Local small shops sell the freshest fruit, vegetables and fish. 

Guardamar del Segura has a stunning park of Rena Sofia (Queen Sofia), which has a beautiful landscape and a pond which is a home for ducks, swans and peacocks. The park is equipped with picknick tables, which attracts families to spend their weekends during the low season. It is a perfect place for children, since this park also has large playground and during high season the build a small amusement park. 

Also, Guardamar is known for another much bigger forest type park of Alfonso XIII. It is a beautiful park, equipped with asphalted pedestrian walks, perfect for roller skating, cycling, running and many other sports activities, leaving alone that it is just a wonderful place to have long walks. 

The harbor of Guardamar will perfectly serve you in case you have a boat or if you are keen on water sports. Windsurfing, kite surfing, water scooters, paddle boarding, kayaking and many other activities are available at Guardamar harbor sport center.
