SAN PEDRO DEL PINATAR

San Pedro del Pinatar is situated in 74km from Alicante airport and 41km from Murcia International airport.

The town centre is located around 2,5 km inland from the sea and offers all kind of amenities to its residents. Even though San it is a quite small city, its strategic location has helped it to develop significantly during past 60 years by the means of the fishing industry and salt extraction together with export.

San Pedro del Pinatar is famous for its natural mud baths located in a basin between the lagoon of Mar Menor and its strip. Public access to mud baths is absolutely free, which makes this place a natural recreational area that attracts thousands of people.

The mud is extracted from the bottom of the basin that´s why San Pedro´s promenade is equipped with special accesses for visitors. Those who prefer to experience the healing properties of San Pedro´s mud in a more exquisite atmosphere, local SPA hotel offers lots of treatments and rituals using the natural mud from San Pedro basin. 

The beachfront is full of all kinds of pubs and restaurants, and weekly market is held every Monday. There are a lot of small shops and boutiques in the centre of the town and if you wish to enjoy shopping at full, we recommend going to Murcia or La Zenia Boulevard mall.

Golf lovers will find several beautiful golf courses Las Colinas in San Miguel de Salinas, Las Ramblas in Villamartin as well as Hacienda Riquelme in Sucina.
